The quaint small town of Elim, characterised by its whitewashed cottages, celebrated its bicentennial this year and, in preparation for the high number of visitors and tourists expected to attend the 200-year Heritage Festival, the ASLA Foundation sponsored a much-needed renovation and upgrade of the public ablution facilities.
The contractor appointed for the construction of the facility built it in a style that is in keeping with the character and spirit of the town. On behalf of the foundation, we’d like to congratulate Elim on their 200-year anniversary, and hope that the festival is enjoyed by all its visitors, and that the new bathroom facilities serve their purpose well.
